March 2015 It was my first time at this location. We went before 1:00pm yesterday, they were unable to serve alcohol before 1pm. However, the service was good. I forgot the young lady name that we had I believe it was Bailey, she was very good & consistent. I ordered the Hawaiian Prime Rib , a caesar salad, and a loaded baked potatoe. My Prime Rib wasn't as hot as I expected, for as long as we waited. But it was still good. Overall great service, food was okay

Cold fries with the cheesy fries and the cheese was not melted. How do you mess up cheesy fries? drinks smell like sulfur!? Waiter was clueless! Menu's were sticky and had food on them. Silverware was dirty, see pic. Don't ever go here, don't waist your time! Go to buffalo wild wings across the street or even Chic-Fa-lay! I asked the waiter how long the restaurant has been there and he said that he had been there about 4 months! Uuugh! Bless his heart , no common sense!

I have been to Colton's several times recently and EVERY time has been a great experience. The past two times (including today) I just had their bacon cheeseburger which is $5.99 with their current lunch deals and what a steal! It's an awesome burger and we had great service! Would definitely go back and pay full price (which is only like 7.99$ at lunch) and still feel I got a good deal. And even fast enough to do on my hour lunch break -and if pressed, they do call in orders!!

Came for my parents anniversary, order the onion tangler, it was spicy, should not be. She forgot to tell us. Ordered 9 oz med well-pink no blood, baked potato just butter and sour cream. The bread was good. Potato was cold, steak was cooked so much the grill marks were black. When told them, they took back microwaved meal and brought it back. Terrible food. Won't be back. Learn to cook.

It's a quick fix for my craving of red meat. I don't frequent the place as much, but the service the last couple of times has been spot on. The order was prepared quickly. For appetizer, the cheese sticks were good, gooey and without that overwhelming breading that messes up this treat in other places. The medium was to my liking, warm and pinkish in the middle. I'm not a fan of littering the floor with peanut shells, and readily offering steak sauces makes me feel like the server doesn't trust the seasoning as is from the kitchen. BTW, if you feel compelled to drown your ribeye with bottled stuff, their house steak sauce tastes like a mix of A-1 and Heinz 57. The rolls are a guilty pleasure for sure.

Don't waste your time. Service is slow and the food is way over priced for the quality.

Won't go back. The quality of the food is just not worth the money. The service was extremely slow. We waited to be seated for 5 mins, they were not even busy and the workers just looked at us like we were lost. Iv waited tables for 6-7 years and sometimes it can cause me to harsh. However if you aren't friendly, fast and keep drinks filled... I'm sorry you are slacking on your job even more so if you aren't even busy. My advice don't eat here!!

It was horrible! Food cold and cooked wrong. Sent it back and just did without! The waitress was the only positive. She did state lots of recooks! Plus the smoking section overpowers you, no matter where you are in the place. Save your money or walk in and give em your money without eating is better than the Colton's dining experience!

This is my first time here and I'm a fan! The Chicken Fried Steak is wonderful and the rolls are to die for!! YUMMMMM! The wait staff is very helpful as well. I will be back for sure when my travels bring me back to this area.

This place was just awesome for our family gathering on Christmas Eve. A few weeks a go we realized the traditional dinner at someones house just wasn't going to happen for a myriad of reasons. To make this easier on every one I started out on a search for restaurant in Desoto County. (I live on the West Coast) I called and talked with a nice young man in early December and he said that they do not take reservations but they will take down my party size and name and keep an eye out on that day for us a nice space. Oh and BTW couldn't talk to the manager b/c he was on the line cooking. I have to say any time a manager jumps in on the line and helps out speaks volumes to me. You know this is a place where its a family and everyone helps out to make it work. So I called on the 23rd spoke to manager (sorry can't remember his name) and he confirmed our large group of 14. My mom was so cute she wanted to make sure we could take our presents, so I did. We arrived about 20 minutes early I asked if we could be out of the main dining area and the hostess totally set us up. We were in a separate room with a fireplace (great back drop for the family pics). B.A. was our server -he is fabulous friendly, outgoing, never let us have an empty glass. He went over his favorites and answered what seemed to be our never ending questions. He even acted as our photographer. Overall, great guy so ask to be in his area - he'll make sure you have an enjoyable meal and provides superior service. So, all in all our first Christmas celebration not at my parents house turned out to be a great one - we were all nervous about changing tradition but it looks like we may have just started a new one!

Food was terrible. Ordered two steals that had no flavor and were cooked wrong. Also had ribs that were too fatty and greasy to eat.

I love coming here for a few reasons. First: Their rolls are amazing. So soft and warm. Just perfect. But what makes them even better? The butter and honey that goes with it. Yum! Second: Cheese fries. Often I split the cheese fries with a friend or a sibling and just have that as a meal. I know it's not healthy, but it's better than eating it as an appetizer and having another meal after! Plus it comes with a spicy ranch dip. I'm not normally into anything spicy, but the dip is very good. Third: The variety of tea. I'm a fan of sweet tea, and it's definitely good, but they also have raspberry tea and peach tea. Also very good. Fourth: The western theme is cute. I don't eat any, but each table get a bucket of peanuts and you can throw the shells on the floor. I find it amusing. I took off one star because I feel the rest of the menu is hit and miss. I've eaten real food off the menu, and some of it is amazing, and other things are just okay.

We don't eat here anymore! This place was really great when they first opened. Then the last 2 times were terrible. One of those times my steak had lighter fluid on it!!! My husband works with a guy who said the same thing happened to him. There are better places to get a steak.
